Is it just me or is the moon unusually bright tonight?

I don't know if it's just me or where I live, but for some reason the moon seems to be unusually bright tonight. It's so bright and clear that it is illuminating the sky around it and the illumination has weird rainbow tint. I live in PA so I'm not sure if it would look the same in your area. Does anyone know what this could be and is there supposed to be some sort of special "event" tonight? Or maybe It's just me...
