Electrolysis of NaCl (brine)..how does NaOH get formed at the cathode???pls help?
yesterday,i read about electrolysis of brine or NaCl ...in it it was given that H2 forms at cathode,Cl2 forms at anode and NaOH also forms at cathode...so i m little bit confused how NaOH forms at cathode since its neutral....
