What is more important stats or winning?

I think its kinda sad how people have become so infatuated stats nowadays ever since fantasy football blew up. Everyone is talking about certain QB's 'stats' and numbers and overrate them. Honestly almost any above average QB can put up good numbers on a p happy offensive team.
