Question about giving this girl a note?

ok so there is this girl that sits next to me in cl who is always staring at me and I was thinking of giving her a note asking her for her aim screen name, but the problem is I havent talked to her at all during the semester and there are only 4 cles left so would it be awkward if all of a sudden I gave her a note asking for her sn???
